On June 11-12, CEPH held its fourth annual workshop in Trinity College Dublin. Across the two days, speakers from 13 universities presented their cutting-edge research across an array of subjects, from women’s suffrage in Britain to secessionist wars in China. The broad scope of subjects exemplifies the broad-church nature of economic history, showing that a long-run perspective has a place in many fields of research.
